Korea’s Bowl Takes Over
The Korean-inspired beef bowl is the meal prep hero of 2026. Ground beef, bold sauce, fluffy rice, fried egg. 20 minutes.
The Sauce Is Everything
3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 4 garlic cloves, 1 tsp ginger. This sauce transforms ground beef.
Cook the Beef Right
Brown ground beef until no pink remains. Drain fat, pour in sauce. Cook 2-3 minutes until glossy and caramelized.
Build Your Bowl
Jasmine rice base. Pile on the beef. Add kimchi, sliced cucumber, shredded carrots, spring onions. Top with a fried egg.
Prep It for the Week
Make beef in bulk Sunday – keeps 5 days refrigerated. Each portion has around 40g protein. Add fresh toppings when serving.
